Modicon TM2DDI32DK

The Modicon TM2DDI32DK is an ultra-high-density 32-point Digital Input Expansion Module from Schneider Electric’s TM2 series.

Similar to the 16-point “DK” module, it uses the HE10 (MIL) connector system to fit 32 inputs into a module that is only 29.7 mm wide, making it one of the most space-efficient input modules in the Modicon M238 and Twido families.

The 32 inputs are divided into two groups of 16. Each group shares a common terminal:

• COM0: Common for inputs 0 through 15.

• COM1: Common for inputs 16 through 31.

• Sink/Source: The groups can be wired differently (e.g., Group 0 as Sink and Group 1 as Source) if your application requires mixed sensor types.

Because landing 32 wires on a single HE10 header is physically difficult, this module is almost always used with the Advantys Telefast system:

• Cables: Uses specialized HE10 cables (like the TWDFCW30K).

• Sub-bases: The cable connects to an ABE7 sub-base (such as ABE7H16R10). Since the sub-bases are usually 16-channel units, a 32-point module typically requires a “splitter” cable or two separate sub-bases to break out all 32 points.
