Telemecanique TWDLMDA40DTK

The Telemecanique (now Schneider Electric) TWDLMDA40DTK is a high-density, modular Twido PLC base controller.¹ The “40” in the model name indicates it has 40 integrated I/O points, and the “TK” suffix signifies that it uses HE10 connectors (MIL connectors) instead of screw terminals to maintain a slim profile.

This model is a “Modular” base, meaning it has no built-in power supply and must be paired with a Twido power module or an external 24V source.

1. I/O Configuration

This unit is designed for high-speed, compact applications where wiring density is a priority.

• Digital Inputs: 24 inputs (24V DC).

• Digital Outputs: 16 outputs (Transistor, Sink type).

• Connection Method: 4x HE10 (20-pin) connectors.² This requires pre-wired cables or terminal sub-bases (like the Advantys Telefast system) to break out the wiring.
