Weintek MT6070iP

The Weintek MT6070iP is a high-performance, 7-inch color touch screen HMI from the iP Series. In some regions, it is branded as Weinview. It is the successor to the older “i” series, offering a much faster processor and a more vivid display while maintaining a very slim profile.

It is widely considered one of the most cost-effective “workhorse” HMIs for industrial automation.

The MT6070iP is known for its high-quality widescreen display which makes complex machine screens look professional.

• Screen Size: 7-inch Widescreen (16:9).

• Display Type: TFT Color LCD.

• Resolution: $800 \times 480$ pixels (WVGA).

• Colors: 16.7M colors (24-bit), providing excellent color depth for gradients and high-resolution icons.

• Backlight: LED with a lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours.

2. Connectivity and Communication

The iP series is designed to talk to almost any industrial device.

• COM 1: RS-232.

• COM 2: RS-485 (supports both 2-wire and 4-wire).

• USB Client: Micro USB port for high-speed project download/upload from a PC.

• USB Host: Not available on the standard iP model (usually found on the iE or XE series). If you need to log data to a pen drive, check if you have the “iP” or “iE” version.

• Processor: 32-bit RISC 528 MHz CPU (much faster than the older 400 MHz models).

• Memory: 128 MB Flash and 128 MB RAM, allowing for smooth animations and fast screen switching.

• Isolation: The power input is typically isolated to protect the internal circuitry from electrical noise in industrial environments.
